Summer Has Come and Passed

Here are some late summer photos, taken in Denver's Washington Park. This beautiful park has wonderful gardens and I went out to shoot pictures early one morning last week. The sun is sitting lower in the horizon lately, plus we've had hazy skies due to a number of Western wildfires. It made for a beautiful setting.

As much as I loathe winter, I love autumn and late summer. It's such a pretty time of the year here, with bright blue skies (think Crayola "sky blue" in Technicolor), buttery yellow sunshine, and wonderful colors in the flowers and the leaves.

Also my favorite time of year! It looks good; it smells good; it feels good. Your photography is so pretty. If I could do that, my walls wouldn't be so naked.
