Thank You, Come Again!
We have a Kwik-E-Mart!Eleven--or twelve, depending on who you believe--7-Eleven stores around the country have been magically transformed into Kwik-E-Mart stores in anticipation of the new Simpsons movie. And we have been blessed with one. Oh, happy day!
Ours is less than half a mile from our house so we ran over today to check it out, along with about half of Denver. I've never had a hard time finding a parking space at 7-Eleven before. Weird. And our neighbor, Scott, was in there, looking hugely puzzled about why the store that is never busy was teaming with people. The checkout line was all the way down the chips aisle.
It's a glorious day in our little cow town.

My husband and sons stopped at a 7-11 today, totally unaware that this was even going on until they got there. They were so freakin happy, but, alas, my husband would not buy any donuts.
D'oh!

"Don't Nuts" cracks me up.
My state's Springfield is vying for the movie premier. They don't even have a movie theater. Old ladies are walking around with blue beehives. Little boys are behaving badly. The mayor was on the news sucking on a pacifier.
I adore this! We have one on the south side--I really need to try to make my way there.
I do so wish I lived in a cool city. I really, truly do.
"3 for the price of 3" -- Hilarious!!!
